Deacons for Defense
Synopsis
Marcus is a passive black family man in Bolalusa, Lousiana, who refuses to get involved in the civil rights movement. All that changes when he is arrested for trying to defend his daughter during a protest, triggering a desire to finally take a stand—aggressively and armed.
